That Narendra Damodardas Modi was seen in a happy mood with Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico. In Bratislava, Robert Fico wore a gray jacket gifted to him by Modi. Seeing this, Modi joked that it seems the two leaders have unknowingly worn the same color clothes.
PM Modi uploaded a video on his Instagram handle. In which Fico is seen wearing a sleeveless jacket over a white shirt. That jacket is usually Modi's special outfit for foreign visits.
When PM Modi pointed out that both leaders were wearing almost the same colored jackets at the event, Slovakian PM Fico posed for the cameras. "What an amazing coincidence, the colors match," Modi told Fico. The moment during Prime Minister Modi's visit to Slovakia gave a glimpse of the warm personal relationship between the two leaders.
After the independence of Slovakia in 1993, Prime Minister Narendra Modi became the first Indian Prime Minister to visit the country. PM Modi captioned the video, "Prime Minister Fico wore a jacket gifted by me and coincidentally, today our jackets matched in color." Prime Minister Modi received a warm welcome on his arrival in Slovakia on Sunday. He was the first Indian Prime Minister to visit the country after its independence in 1993.
He held delegation-level talks with Robert Fico in Bratislava on Monday and the two leaders also visited an art exhibition. India and Slovakia have signed 11 agreements to enhance mutual cooperation. The agreements were signed in areas like immigration, digital technology and defense after talks between Modi and FICO.
Prime Minister Modi also praised FICO for helping to finalize the India-EU Free Trade Agreement.
