Rana lives with his wife and 2 children in a rented house at Lalbagh Baisakhi Mor in Dinajpur Sadar. A fridge was very essential in his family. To purchase a fridge, Rana and his wife deposited around Tk 29,000 in a plastic bank in the last one year. Adding some money with the amount, Rana bought a fridge from Walton Plaza Gonestola branch in Dinajpur Sadar on 14th October, 2024. After that, he received and SMS from Walton which stated that he was awarded Tk 20 lakh. On Tuesday last (October 22, 2024), a cheque of Tk 20 lakh was handed over to Rana Islam at a program held at the ground of Dinajpur Institute at Jail Road in Dinajpur Sadar.

Thus, Rana bought a fridge of 316 liters at Tk 41,200 from Gonestola Walton Plaza in the city on October 14. The fridge was digitally registered. Then he received an SMS from Walton with the notification that he was awarded Tk 20 lakh. At first he didn't believe it. Because he did not imagine that he would get Tk 20 lakh for just buying a fridge. After confirming the matter over the phone from the head office of Walton, he believed.
