London: Two trains collided in London. One death has been reported so far in the accident. Many passengers were injured.

Many have broken their bones due to the head-on collision between the two trains. How did this accident happen? It is reported that two trains collided north of London on Friday afternoon.

The accident happened around 5:15 local time. Both trains were bound for London's St Pancras station, when the two trains collided on the same track outside of Bedford. However, the number of casualties was relatively low as the clashes were not very intense.

One death and at least 89 injuries were reported. Emergency services reached the spot after receiving the news of the accident. The seriously injured were taken to the hospital by air ambulance.

"A major accident has occurred. As per the information we have, multiple passengers have been injured. Unfortunately one passenger has died," the police statement said.

Passengers' statements - A passenger of the train said, "I was in the last room of the train. Suddenly I saw that I was thrown from the seat and flying in the air. I fell on the front seat.

Then I saw smoke. People were crying around. Everyone was very scared.

Many of them had broken arms and legs. I managed to get out of the train through the gap of the door."
