Know more... BJP Government of Bihar has announced Sindhu Darshan Tirtha Yatra Financial Assistance Scheme 2026. Under this scheme, tourists visiting the Indus River in Ladakh will be given special financial assistance by the state government.

This decision was taken in the cabinet meeting on Wednesday of this week. This announcement is for more tourists to visit this historical river. How much money will the state government?

It is learned that under the Sindhu Darshan Yatra, pilgrims will be reimbursed 50 percent of the travel expenses by the state government or Rs. 20,000 per head (whichever is less). What conditions must be met?

Anyone can't take money from the government to travel to Ladakh. A few conditions are given for this. These are- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Bihar.

Applicant must be above 18 years of age. Financial assistance will not be given to children and those below 18 years of age. This financial assistance will be given to 100 meritorious candidates every year.

How to get this financial help? Financial assistance will be available only after completion of travel. That is, the tourists have to come around first.

Then apply in the prescribed process of the government. The Tourism Department of Bihar will soon issue guidelines in this regard.
