After having been in love for a long time, the ties of the relationship have been loosened. Dhanush and Mrunal Tagore, one of the most sought-after duos of Bolipara and the southern film industry, have now parted ways. According to reports from Bollywood sources, the relationship between the two stars has ended.
However, the reason for this separation is not yet clear. Rumors of Dhanush and Mrunal Thakur's romance are not new, the pages of Page Three were abuzz with their chemistry for quite some time. The incident started in August 2015, when Mrinal was seen with Dhanush at the premiere of his film 'Son of Sardar 2'.
Not only that, earlier Mrunal's presence at the wrap-up party of Dhanush's film 'Tere Ishq Mein' caught everyone's attention. Also fueling the buzz was Mrunal's closeness with Dhanush's two sisters — Dr. Kartika Karthik and Bimala Geeta — on social media.
Earlier, Dhanush's close confidant said, "Mrunal and Dhanush are indeed dating. But the relationship is brand new, so they don't have any plans to make it official in front of the media or the general public right now. Also, they have no qualms about going out together in public.
Their values, preferences and thoughts are so similar that all their friends are loving this pair." However, Mrinal Tagore last year rubbished all these speculations by claiming that Dhanush is "just a good friend". In the month of February this year, the news of the couple's marriage was also heavily rumored. Even, several AI-generated pictures of Dhanush and Mrinal in traditional South Indian wedding attire went viral on social media.
However, later a source close to the two stars dismissed the news as fake and said, "Mrinal is not getting married next month. This is a completely baseless rumour." Incidentally, Dhanush was previously married to Megastar Rajinikanth's daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth. In 2003, they met on the sets of the film 'Kadal Konden'.
After 18 years of marriage, they announced mutual separation in 2022. They have two sons.
