Members of Green HR Professions Bangladesh attend the 6th Regional Conference of ISTD
The 6th Regional Conference of the Indian Society for Training and Development (ISTD) Kolkata Chapter was held at Bishwa Bangla Convention Center at Kolkata in India.
At the conference, Green HR Professions Bangladesh received a special honour from the ISTD.
The ISTD arranged the two-day conference on September 15 and 16, 2023. A total of 3 members of Green HR Professionals Bangladesh attended this wonderful program. They are Md. Raoshan Ali Bulbul, Mohammad Ekram Hossain, Eliash Hossain, Shoaib Mahmud Riyad, Md. Emran Hossain, Md. Mamunur Rashid, Rahidul Islam, Moshtari Begum, Sujit Kumar Das and Farzana Quader.
Green HR Professionals Bangladesh members regularly attend these conferences for personal and organizational development. The organization has already completed the 228th week of its subject-oriented live lesson Study circle. In recognition of this unique program of knowledge-based professionalism, training and capacity development initiatives, meeting organizational challenges through mutual experience exchange and interest in reading books, the conference partner Green HR Bangladesh was given a special award.

President of the organization Raoshan Ali Bulbul received the memento on behalf of the organization and he was presented with a suit.
Raoshan Ali Bulbul said, "The movement we have started to read, learn, and teach has taken us a long way. Great work is satisfying. And to be recognized for it is even more gratifying. Special thanks to ISTD for this wonderful recognition."
Established in 1970, ISTD has been organizing various conferences every year in the Asian subcontinent. The main theme of this year's conference was 'Leveraging Sustainability through Technology for Agile Organizations'. Bangladesh's Deputy Minister for Education Barrister Muhibul Hasan Chowdhury and West Bengal Labor and Law Minister Malay Ghatak were present as guests.
Ranjan Kumar Mohapatra, Executive Director and Head, Indian Oil Institute of Petroleum Management, presented the keynote paper on the main theme at the first day of the two-day conference. Moreover, there were 6 panel discussions, 10 paper presentations and 2 sessions on Spirituality and Wellness.
The panel discussion included key topics like: Future of Work, Balancing Automation and Human Capital, Unleashing the Power of Human Capital through Analytics, The Challenge of Educating the Next Generation of Leaders, Marshalling Cutting Edge Technology for Tomorrow's Talent Management, etc. As many as 24 experienced HR personalities, specialists and industry experts. Among the panelists from Bangladesh were Dr. Mosharraf Hossain (Advisor, Green HR Bangladesh), Professor Dr. Farid Ahmad Sobhani and Mr. Yusuf Ifti.

Participating in this international conference provides guidance and information to address current and future challenges in human resource management, inspiring Green HR members to make strategic contributions to their respective organizations.
