Mumbai: Betrayal again? Break again? On the one hand, where the Trinamool Congress is breaking into pieces in the state, there are rumors of disintegration in Maharashtra too.

Are MPs of Shiv Sena (UBT) also enrolling in other parties? Amidst these speculations, party chief Uddhav Thackeray called the meeting today. Speculations are being heard, 'Operation Tiger' has started in Maharashtra.

Some MPs from the Uddhav camp may switch parties. Some MPs may leave Shiv Sena (UBT) and join Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena. It is in this context that today Uddhav Thackeray called all nine MPs of the party at his residence Matoshree for a meeting.

According to party sources, Uddhav Thackeray has called nine MPs to discuss the current political situation in the state and the party itself. A few days ago it was heard that Eknath Shinde had contacted several MPs from the Uddhav camp. However, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut dismissed the meeting as not about the party's internal crisis.

He said that it was a routine meeting. All MPs will attend this meeting. Those who cannot attend in person, will join through video conference.

'Operation Tiger' has been rumored for two years, but never materialised. Incidentally, in June 2022, Eknath Shinde started a rebellion within the Shiv Sena. He took 40 MLAs first to Gujarat, then to Assam.

After that they came back to Mumbai and demanded to form a coalition government with the BJP. The Maha Bikash Agari Alliance broke up. Uddhav Thackeray was forced to resign from the post of Chief Minister.

Eknath Shinde became Chief Minister in BJP-Shiv Sena government. Then in 2023 the National Election Commission declared Eknath Shinde's camp as the original Shiv Sena. The name of the Uddhav camp is Shiv Sena (Uddhav Bal Thackeray).
